All Great Sky Island Shrine Locations in Tears of the Kingdom

The first steps to unlocking bigger and better places to explore!

When you first embark on your Tears of the Kingdom journey through Great Sky Island, also known as Tutorial Island, you have two main objectives: exploring various shrines to enhance your powers and finding Princess Zelda. However, beyond this, there are no clear indicators of where these shrines are. Given how massive TOTK’s world is, you can easily spend hours exploring it.

All Great Sky Island Shrine Locations in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Great Sky Island has four shrines you’ll have to find. Initially, you will need to explore the first three scattered around the island, with the fourth becoming accessible later on.

With that said, below are the four shrines you’ll find in Tears of the Kingdom:

  1. Ukouh Shrine
  2. In-isa Shrine
  3. Gutanbac Shrine
  4. Nachoyah Shrine

While you don’t have to go to the first three in this exact order, it’s the path I used and the one I’d recommend. It’s an open-world game, though, and you’re more than welcome to take whichever routes you prefer!

Where to Find Each Great Sky Island Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom – Shrine Map

Before jumping right into this, it’s worth noting that you don’t have to follow the exact route and order I did. However, to make things easier to follow, I’ll describe all four shrine locations and how I reached them.

Rather than making you suffer through interpreting a compressed version of the in-game map, I’ll list each location according to the interactive map below:

  1. Ukouh Shrine (0274, -0913, 1460) – Go west from the Temple of Time until you see a large stone cliff with a winding staircase. Climb these stairs to find the first shrine!
  2. In-isa Shrine (0027, -1503, 1408) – Head to the western part of the map until you’re north of the massive lake separating you from the shrine. Build a raft to cross the water before climbing the shrine’s hill.
  3. Gutanbac Shrine (0700, -1389, 1584) – Make sure you have plenty of cold resistance before coming here! There are at least two potential routes you can use: either start from the northern part of the ice area and travel south past the waterfall and mountain or start from In-isa Shrine and circle up past Pondside and Pit Caves. You can also check out how to find the Third Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom for a more detailed guide on exploring this icy cold area.
  4. Nachoyah Shrine (0388, -1660, 2299) – After going to the three shrines above, return to the Temple of Time and progress through the story until you’re prompted to revisit the Room of Awakening at coordinates 0369, -1752, 2280. From here, you’ll use your newfound abilities to create a path for yourself leading directly to this final shrine.

Best of luck in your journey to finding all four TOTK Great Sky Island Shrines!
