Complete Game Mode Details Explained in Mecha BREAK

Tactical Station – Operation Verge

Operation Verge is Mecha BREAK’s 6v6 mode. Two teams face off on a large map, competing to secure objectives and earn points. This is the most casual and basic game mode, where you can fight and earn some Mission Tokens along the way.

You can choose several missions to finish in this game mode and earn more and more Mission Tokens, so you can spend them to unlock cosmetics, mods, and even cases. Those cases could turn into Corite, a premium currency, if you get something extremely valuable and sell on the Matrix Marketplace.

Aside from the grind, Operation Verge is arguably its most casually fun game mode to play.

Tactical Station – Ace Arena

Under the same category, Ace Arena features a 3v3 mode where the first team to reach eight eliminations wins the match. It is a short but more concentrated fight without having to worry about objectives. This game mode emphasizes the importance of having a well-balanced team composition, including supports, brawlers, and attackers.

Since each elimination has a significant impact on the game’s outcome, the pressure is high. Lose your support, and you might lose three eliminations in a single encounter.

You can also earn Mission Tokens and finish mission progress playing the Ace Arena game mode, similar to Operation Verge.

Operation Storm – Mashmak

Operation Storm Mashmak is Mecha BREAK’s PvPvE extraction-based game mode. If you aren’t familiar with the genre, it pits a lot of players against each other in a massive area (similar to how big battle royale maps are). There are random events, AI-controlled enemies, and secrets scattered around the map.

Different players will have different goals here. Some go in to fight other players, while some just want to get loot and get out. That’s what makes the game mode fun. You can just play a match the way you want to.

However, things can get hectic since you can purchase upgraded gear and loadouts to enhance your mechs and gain a slight advantage in combat.

Players use leftover gear or buy it from the Matrix Marketplace to prepare for battle, but you can also play and grind out some of the good mods and weapons without paying for anything. In fact, you could even be a supplier and stockpile some Corites if you are good and lucky enough.

These are the three main game modes in Mecha BREAK. In short, Tactical Station (Operation Verge and Ace Arena) relies on fixed strikers with a few loadout changes. At the same time, Operation Storm (Mashmak) lets you fully customize your whole loadout, gadgets, and everything else since you’ll be risking those items when you get into the game mode.
