All Dusk Stone Evolution Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

From dusk 'til dawn.

Not every Pokemon in the franchise is evolved simply by leveling; some require gimmicks like time of day and going to a specific place, while others need an Evolution Stone. The Paldea region continues this tradition with a handful of ‘mon that you can only get via transformation using an Evolution Stone. Here are all the Dusk Stone evolutions in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Because there is no National Pokedex in the Gen 9 games, it means that the number of Pokemon that require an Evolution Stone to evolve is minimal. And the Dusk Stone is no exception – there are only two in the Paldean Pokedex.

The Pokemon that evolve with a Dusk Stone in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are:

  • Misdreavus – Evolves into Mismagius (exclusive to Pokemon Violet)
  • Murkrow – Evolves into Honchkrow

Note that Misdreavus, and therefore Mismagius, is exclusive to Pokemon Violet so if you own Pokemon Scarlet, you’re going to need to trade for one in order to register it in your Pokedex and evolve it.

How to Get Dusk Stones in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

There are two known Dusk Stone spawn locations in the Paldea region. One is directly behind Montenevera Gym, and the other is east of Cascarrafa in some grass. Look for a glowing Poke Ball in each area.
