All Adamantite Locations and Weapons in Final Fantasy Resonance

Adamantite is one of the rarest crafting materials in Final Fantasy Resonance, with only eight pieces available throughout the entire game. You’ll need them to craft eight unique weapons through Aileen, and each of them is specifically designed for a different party member.

Here’s where to find all eight Adamantite in Final Fantasy Resonance, the stats and effects of every craftable weapon, and which ones we’d recommend getting first.

All Adamantite Locations in Final Fantasy Resonance

There are eight Adamantite locations in Final Fantasy Resonance. Three are rewards from the Grandshelt Colosseum, two are obtained through Tablet Shard milestones, and the remaining three are found through exploration and a merchant.

The earliest Adamantite can be obtained from the Grandshelt Colosseum during Chapter 4, although you’ll have to wait until later to start crafting weapons. The Colosseum rewards are only available on your first clear of each battle, so you can’t repeatedly farm them for additional Adamantite. The Brawler League becomes available after completing the Fledgling League.

For the hidden Adamantite near Olderion, you’ll need the Magi-tenna airship upgrade from Gaberada, the Undertown, during Chapter 6. Once installed, fly toward the northern bay and follow Lid’s radar signals until you locate the treasure.

The Merchant Ship is another relatively straightforward source if you have 35,000 Gil available. It spawns after you reach Gaberada, the Undertown at Gronoa continent. This ship can be found circling the region between Granoa, Pharm and Olderion.

None of the eight Adamantite pieces is permanently missable, and you can collect any you skipped after completing the story.

How to Unlock Adamantite Weapon Crafting

Before you can use Adamantite, you’ll need to complete the Forger of Wills side quest, which becomes available in Dilmagia during Chapter 5. Speak to the Gossiping Girl near the city’s entrance to begin the quest. You’ll eventually meet Aileen, a weapons engineer, and need to gather information from several locations before answering her questions.

Here are the correct answers:

1. It’s a tool of harm.
2. A way to rebel against troubling times.
3. Craft weapons that suit each of us well.

After completing the Forger of Wills side quest, progress to Chapter 6 and speak to Aileen aboard the Enterprise with at least one Adamantite in your inventory. She’ll offer to craft a unique weapon for each party member, consuming one Adamantite per weapon.

Each weapon costs one Adamantite, and you can only craft one of each. The material is consumed when you confirm your choice, so make sure you’re selecting the weapon you want.

Crafting your first Adamantite weapon unlocks The Weapon That Suits the User achievement, while crafting all eight rewards The Weaponsmith achievement.

All Adamantite Weapon Stats and Effects in Final Fantasy Resonance

Aileen can craft eight weapons, one for each playable character. All of them have strong stats, but their unique effects are what make them useful.

These weapons aren’t necessarily stronger than every Legendary Arm obtained from the Chamber of Arms. Some Legendary weapons have higher attack stats, but Aileen’s creations offer powerful automatic buffs that can be more valuable for specific builds.

For example, Mechabo Hammer SUPER eliminates the need for Lid to spend her opening action activating regular Overclock, while Codex Providentiae lets Nichol begin battle with Fluid Warfare already active. Both of these are game-changing effects that can shake up your gameplay style.

Best Adamantite Weapons To Get First

Since Adamantite is limited, we’d recommend crafting weapons for the characters you regularly use rather than simply selecting the one with the highest attack stat. That said, a few weapons are useful enough to justify prioritizing them over the rest.

1. Roselia — Sakura

Roselia is our top recommendation for players using Sakura as their main magic damage dealer. It has 204 Magic Attack, the highest among Aileen’s weapons, and automatically grants Concentrate for three turns and Sage’s Eye for four turns at the start of battle.

Concentrate doubles magic damage, while Sage’s Eye improves the Stagger Power of magical attacks. Having both active immediately allows Sakura to start dealing serious damage without wasting turns applying buffs.

This works especially well with powerful magic Visions like Terra, and Shantotto, and you can combine it with their transferable Mastery abilities for even more damage.

2. Codex Providentiae — Nichol

Nichol is the best support character in Final Fantasy Resonance, and Codex Providentiae works extremely well with his Formations. It automatically grants Tactic: Fluid Warfare for three turns and allows Nichol to act first at the start of battle.

Combine it with Double Action and Arms Akimbo and you can set up all of Nichol’s buffs in a single turn. Furthermore, using Observe and Charge LB and Onion Knight’s LB Triple Charge, lets you fill his LB Gauge for Mirroring Prism on the first turn.

For longer boss encounters, this is easily one of the most useful Adamantite weapons you can craft.

3. Shisui — Lasswell

Shisui has 197 Physical Attack and 148 Magic Attack, making it the best mid-game weapon for Lasswell. Its main advantage is automatically applying Hone Senses and Placidity for five turns at the start of combat.

Lasswell is also one of the party’s strongest characters for building Stagger, and Shisui works well with physical Mastery abilities from Cloud, Squall, and Firion. If you’re running an offensive party with Lasswell as your main Breaker, we’d recommend crafting Shisui first.

4. Mechabo Hammer SUPER — Lid

Mechabo Hammer SUPER is one of the biggest improvements you can make to Lid’s combat abilities, especially if you’ve completed the Mechabo Evolved questline.

The weapon automatically activates regular Overclock at the start of battle and allows Lid to act first. Overclock increases Mechabo’s damage and Stagger Power by 150% for the next three attacks, so getting it for free can make an enormous difference.

Combine this with Tidus’s Reckless Abandonment and Mecha Behemoth to stagger entire groups of enemies before they can cause much trouble.

5. Save the Vermillion — Rain

Save the Vermillion is an excellent defensive weapon for Rain, reducing both physical and magical damage taken by 20%. This is one of the best Adamantite weapons if you’re using Rain as a dedicated tank or counterattack spammer.
