With the big reveal earlier today of Sony teasing what’s next for the PlayStation brand with the next generation, Microsoft had their own small bit of news to tease. Since of the two companies, only the Xbox team has an E3 showcase planned, they want to make sure what they have to share matters. With last year’s showcases surprising everyone with amazing reveals and studio acquisition news, it looks like Microsoft is gearing up to top that this year with the “biggest” showcase yet.
From our briefing to our fan events, the Xbox Experience to the Xbox Official Gear Shop, this will be our biggest E3 presence ever! Only 55 days to go until #E32019 https://t.co/ozisTqwXOj pic.twitter.com/QdEt9m5YBQ

Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb revealed Xbox’s showcase time, set for june 9th at 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET. He also added that fans should brace themselves, because they have some huge surprises in store. Though Major Nelson didn’t have anything specific to reveal at this time – there has to be something for E3 – the excitement is easy to feel, especially with next-gen talk being so prominent.
A few things we do know to expect is more on Gears 5, Halo Infinite, and Cyberpunk 2077. The team also teased that they have a few new studio additions to reveal as well, but the specifics are being heavily guarded.
While this year’s E3 will be very different without a PlayStation stage, we are still excited to see what gaming has in store for the year ahead. Have any specific predictions or wishes for E3 2019? Hit us with them over on Twitter @PrimaGames.
