Xbox Live Gets Various New Apps Today, Including Karaoke and Maxim

Sing, look at some pics, and browse CNET headlines. Yep, that's a work day.

Microsoft is loading up the Xbox Live Marketplace with new apps, just in time for the holidays.

Leading the release pack is a new app that ties in with Maxim Magazine, allowing casual users and subscribers alike to look through plenty of digital content relating to beautiful women and everything revolving around the men’s lifestyle.

Other apps are launching in the service as well.  The new SkyDrive app allows you to view pictures and videos stored within your Microsoft cloud, free of charge.  If you’re in the mood to check out what’s happening in the digital world of CNET, you can download their app and watch their programming however you wish.

Finally, if you’re in a singing state of mind (and who isn’t), then you’ll love the new Karaoke app, which gives you access to thousands of songs for a small fee, turning your game system into a full-blown party machine.  The app itself is free to download, and you can browse to your heart’s content.

Check out the apps over at http://www.xbox.com now, or simply turn on your Xbox 360 game console.
