Xbox Games With Gold October 2019 Free Game Lineup Confirmed

by Liana Ruppert

One of the perks that the Xbox Live membership has is its free games lineup every month with Xbox Games With Gold. Microsoft offers a blend of both Xbox 360 and Xbox One titles with the older 360 games being backwards compatible. Sometimes the month line-ups are hit or miss but October actually looks pretty dope depending on your tastes with one title, in particular, we think is perfect with the holiday just around the corner.

For those that want to just dive right into which games will be for free next month, here’s what Xbox Live members have to look forward to:

Though Friday the 13: The Game definitely had its fair share of issues since launch, including negative player feedback and a very elongated period of silence from the studio, it actually is a really enjoyable game for those that enjoy a good campy horror story. It’s fun playing with friends, it’s fun playing the iconic masked horror – it’s a good time without taking itself too seriously. Plus, it’s Halloween just around the corner, what better way than to celebrate with a horror star?

It’s important to note that these free games cannot be claimed unless an Xbox Live Membership is active. As per Microsoft, “As an Xbox Live Gold Member, you get the most advanced multiplayer, bonus games, and exclusive member discounts in Microsoft Store. With Xbox Live Gold, you can stay connected with friends, family, and Xbox Live members around the world.”
