Microsoft took to their official blog  earlier last month to share more about the move to PC and what that means for those not looking to play on console: "Xbox Game Pass for PC will give players unlimited access to a curated library of over 100 high-quality PC games on Windows 10, from well-known PC game developers and publishers such as Bethesda, Deep Silver, Devolver Digital, Paradox Interactive, SEGA, and more. And just as we committed on the console, it is our intent to include new games from Xbox Game Studios in Xbox Game Pass for PC the same day as their global release, including titles from newly acquired studios like Obsidian and inXile. We're working with over 75 developers and publishers to bring PC content to the service and we'll ensure the library remains curated and full of great PC titles across a variety of genres, with new games added every month."

PC players will receive the same discounts Xbox One Pass holders have, including DLC, with a much bigger reveal during E3 that's less than two weeks away. The best part is that more and more Xbox exclusives will also be available on Steam, much like the Master Chief Collection later this year. The bridges between platforms are slowly becoming smaller, making it interesting to see just how the next generation of gaming operates.

For those that may not know, how the Xbox Game Pass works is it allows players to enjoy unlimited access to many great Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles for only $9.99 per month, including fan-favorites including exclusives like Halo, Gears of War, and Crackdown. With so many games to discover and download, your Xbox experience will never be the same.

For more about the Xbox Game Pass, according to Microsoft:

Play games across multiple genres, from action/adventure and family favorites to shooters, sports, puzzle games, and more. And with new titles added every month, you'll always have a wide selection of great games to choose from.

Download games directly to your console and play online or offline in full-fidelity, without any streaming or connectivity issues. Whether it's a new story to immerse yourself in or an old journey you're eager to revisit, experience your games as they were intended.

Love an Xbox One game and want to own it? Interested in an add-on or Season Pass for a title you're playing in the Xbox Game Pass catalog? Save 20% on Xbox One game purchases and 10% on all related add-ons, but only while the base game is currently in the catalog. Xbox 360 games do not qualify for discounts.
