Always played in, never played out.

Xbox and Adidas Reveal Second 20th Anniversary Celebration Sneaker

If the Xbox 20th Forum Tech sneakers didn’t grab you, but you really want a pair of Xbox and Adidas sneakers, a new design has been revealed today in the form of the Xbox 360 Forum Mid sneakers.

Rather than feature a mostly green color palette like the Xbox 20th Forum Tech sneakers, the Xbox 360 Forum Mid sneakers have a white base with grey accents. It wouldn’t be Xbox without the color green though, and this can be found at the very bottom of the shoe.

In the post from Xbox Wire, the shoes feature a number of Easter Eggs for fans, with the following description provided:

“With a plethora of visual throwbacks and Easter eggs that fans will love, the Xbox 360 Forum Mid is truly designed as a love letter to one of the most iconic consoles in gaming history.

Drawing inspiration from the original Xbox 360 console’s colors — white, silver, and green — the incredible details highlighted throughout the sneaker represent a playful celebration and nod to the vibrant history of Xbox.

On the strap, you’ll note the Xbox 360 disc tray, along with the classic 360-era Xbox button design on the shoe’s outer side and the console’s air vents on the inner side.

Additionally, the heel features references to the Xbox 360’s distinctive removable hard drive and memory unit slots. There are a myriad of details to discover and enjoy, including some hidden secrets for fans.”

The shoes will come paired with four extra sets of laces based on the face buttons on the Xbox 260 controller (red, yellow, green, and blue). The Xbox 360 Forum Mid sneakers will be available for purchase in the U.S. and Canada starting tomorrow, November 4, at 7:00 a.m. (PST) on the Adidas website

The Xbox Wire post goes on to note that there’s one more sneaker design left to be revealed, with the third and final sneaker design reveal taking place on November 15 during the 20th anniversary Xbox and Halo broadcast.

The final sneaker will be inspired by the Xbox Series X. With this in mind, if you aren’t a fan of the Xbox 20th Forum Tech or Xbox 360 Forum Mid sneakers, the third reveal may be the charm with the final sneaker design reveal based around the Xbox Series X.

Be sure to check back, as we’ll share information on this sneaker design as soon as it’s revealed on November 15.

Until then, we’re eager to hear your thoughts on the Xbox 360 Forum Mid sneakers. Are you planning to buy a pair, or are you waiting to see what the Xbox Series X sneaker design will look like?
