They don’t appear to be available for purchase just yet, but there is a bit of info in the Xbox Wire post that explains how you can get your hands on them.

Xbox and Adidas Collaborate on New Xbox 20th Forum Tech Sneakers

Xbox and Adidas announced a partnership today and unveiled a new set of Xbox-themed sneakers in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Xbox. The Xbox 20th Forum Tech sneakers are lime and translucent green with black accents along with an Xbox logo, of course.

The sneakers aren’t available just yet, though the Xbox Wire post has some information on how to get them.

“This is just the beginning of our partnership with adidas, and over the next few months we’ll continue to mark our 20th anniversary by launching additional sneakers inspired by past and present Xbox console generations, including the first-ever sneaker available for purchase by our fans later this year.

Follow @Xbox on Twitter to stay tuned for the latest drops and ways to win your very own pair of limited-edition sneakers.”

Essentially, it sounds like fans will be able to purchase their very own Xbox sneakers later on this year. It also sounds like there will be other sneakers coming, so if you aren’t in love with this particular sneaker design, it’s worth following Xbox on Twitter to catch updates on other sneaker releases in the future.

If the photos of the Xbox 20th Forum Tech aren’t doing it for you, a trailer was also released for the shoes (which you can check out below) that may make you feel some warm, fuzzy nostalgia as the theme is the early 2000s, the era when Microsoft launched the first Xbox console.

“We’re excited to debut our launch trailer titled “adidas Originals by Xbox – 20 Years of Play” which celebrates the era of play most prevalent when we launched the first Xbox console in the early 2000s — skateboarding culture.

Filmed and edited like a skate tape pulled straight from 2001, we follow a group of friends as they skate through their day in the Xbox 20th Forum Tech sneakers, pulling off tricks and playing some Halo: Combat Evolved on the original Xbox.”

Overall, it’s neat to see Microsoft celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Xbox with cool promotions, like this collaboration with Adidas. We look forward to seeing what other products and sneakers are announced, and will be sure to update you on how to get the Xbox 20th Forum Tech sneakers when more information becomes available.

Until then, what are your thoughts on the sneakers? Do you like the design? What other designs are you hoping to see? Let us know in the comments below, or on our social media channels including Facebook and Twitter
