A recent leak from the official Twitter account for Netflix in the Netherlands got plenty of fans hopes up, as it put the release date for The Witcher Netflix series on December 17th. However, Netflix responded to this leak and cast doubts on the possibility of the show arriving on December 17th.
According to a report by the Video Games Chronicle, a Netflix spokesperson told the outlet the release date for The Witcher Netflix series has not yet been confirmed. They also stated that not all of the information in the Twitter post by the Netherlands Netflix Twitter account was accurate or final.
“The launch date for The Witcher has not yet been confirmed,” the Netflix spokesperson told Video Games Chronicles. “The post was made by Netflix accounts in the Netherlands in error, and not all of the information contained in it is accurate/final.”
There is a possibility that The Witcher release date will indeed be December 17th. The popular live streaming platform may not be ready to announce it at this time officially. However, fans could also be the getting the highly anticipated show sooner or later than its leaked release date.
