No Rest for the Wicked First Hotfix Patch Hits Servers and Fixes Many Issues

This is great news!

No Rest for the Wicked kicked off poorly, but developer Moon Studios has swiftly resolved some of the issues the title initially faced. The developer released its first hotfix patch for the game, addressing multiple gameplay issues and performance problems.

Moon Studios primarily focused on fixing some of the larger, more accessible issues like durability, stamina consumption, armor and weapon repair costs, and item drop rates from enemies.

  • Reduced durability damage taken.
  • Reduced repair costs.
  • Increased drop rate on repair powders.
  • Reduced stamina costs.
  • Reduced fall damage curve.
  • Reduced cost of horseshoe crab and food that includes horseshoe crab.
  • Balance update for the Cerim Crucible boss.
  • Changed corpse-smeared blade starting from tier two to tier one.

The developer also addressed loot issues and fixed performance problems within the game, improving inventory navigation and resolving crashing.

  • Introduced more weapons into Fillmore’s pre-sacrament loot table.
  • Reduced drop rate of fallen embers.
  • Fixed crash that could occur when quitting out to the main menu.
  • Improved inventory navigation.
  • Fixed jump at potion seller cave so you can’t miss the jump when executed correctly.
  • Blocked off an out of bounds area of nameless pass.
  • Removed lingering development tools.

Moon Studios continues to introduce new improvements for No Rest for the Wicked in the future, promising an upcoming stat re-specialization mechanic and controller remapping. As time passes, players can only hope that these updates arrive soon.
