It’s that time of the year month week it seems, with another doomsday prediction for Roblox being out in the public, from an unknown source, unknown origin, and unknown intention. Prima Games has dived deep into this virtual town square rabble and we are providing you with a short digest of what this is all about.

Will Roblox Shut Down on January 1, 2023?

These online rumors keep sprouting from time to time, and it is highly difficult to even establish where these rumors originate from. It seems that someone (or a group of people) start to make such allegations on various social media through text posts, images, and videos. This can happen on Twitter, Instagram, Discord, TikTok, YouTube, or any other popular site where such troll shenanigans can be released to the general public. Some people even figure out that it’s a joke, but continue sarcastically perpetuating such misinformation for the “lulz”, but sadly, some people still believe it because, for example, the photoshopped (or otherwise doctored) image of an “official” tweet from a Roblox Twitter account is done decently, and most people won’t check the actual Twitter account to validate this claim.

Will Anything Happen to Roblox on January 1, 2023?
