When Does Fortnite Season 6 End?

Based on the in-game countdown meter, Fortnite Season 6 is scheduled to conclude on Wednesday, December 5th. Each season in Fortnite typically runs for 10 weeks, though sometimes Epic will extend the season past its end date to allow players to complete any last-minute Battle Pass Challenges. Epic usually pushes patch updates on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so the Wednesday end date makes sense in terms of timing.

When Does Fortnite Season 7 Start?

Fortnite Season 7 is officially set to begin on Thursday, December 6. Downtime for the update will start at 4 a.m. ET. The date coincides with The Game Awards, where we can expect to see a major Fortnite announcement of some sort.

The Fortnite Twitter account has officially begun rolling out teasers for Season 7, each of which include a frosty image that hints at a winter or snow theme. The first teaser tweet is the one seen below, which reads “A bitter ice spreads…3 days to Season 7.”

Though the first teaser seemed to display some sort of ice king, the second teaser went with a more sporty approach, featuring a skiier and the quote, “A frigid day dawns.”

With just one day left before the start of Season 7, one more teaser has been released with a quote that says “Ascend to new heights,” and an image that depicts a character possibly hanging from a zipline.

We will be sure to update this article as new information is revealed about the official theme for Fortnite Season 7, so stay tuned.
