Microsoft has brought out an update to its iOS My Xbox Live app, and for the first time released an Android edition.
The iOS version of the app allows users to control their Xbox 360, allowing the launch of games and apps from your mobile device. You can even play, pause and rewind media.
The iPad edition has been built with support for Apple’s ultra hi-res Retina display.
A new addition to the app goes by the name Discover, which highlights new content on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
Android owners can now grab the My Xbox Live app from Google Play though sadly it lacks the control features of the iOS edition, instead behaving much like the previous iOS version. There’s still the ability to view and message your friends or browse their achievements, and you can also customize your avatar with the app.
