Today, Turtle Beach confirmed in a press release that it has the largest lineup of gaming headsets available for the Nintendo Switch console. This should come as great news for Fortnite fans, as Fortnite recently launched on Nintendo Switch during E3 2018. Epic Games has confirmed that the Nintendo Switch version of Fortnite has its own built-in voice chat system, which means that gamers won’t need to use the mobile app to chat with their friends while teaming up for Fortnite on Switch.

Turtle Beach now offers 25 different gaming headsets in its current lineup (not including legacy models) that are compatible with Fortnite’s in-game chat functionality on Nintendo Switch, according to today’s announcement. You can view the full lineup of Switch-ready headsets on the Turtle Beach website.

“Epic’s bold move seemingly opens the doors for developers of future online multiplayer titles coming to Nintendo Switch to follow their lead and implement in-game chat systems, which is great news overall for Nintendo, for Turtle Beach, and most importantly…for gamers,” said Juergen Stark, CEO of Turtle Beach.

Turtle Beach also revealed two new products at E3 2018, the Recon 200 and Stealth 300, which are both optimized for Fortnite on Switch. The Recon 200 offers amplified game audio and enhanced bass delivered through 40mm speakers. Similarly, the Stealth 300 features slightly larger 50mm speakers and a unique glasses-friendly design that makes the headset more comfortable for those wearing glasses. The Recon 200 will sell for a retail price of $59.95, while the Stealth 300 will sell for $79.95.

If you’ve been playing Fortnite on Nintendo Switch and want to be able to chat with your squad, head over to the official Turtle Beach website for details on the full lineup of Switch-compatible gaming headsets.
