Transformers Prime Reportedly Coming To Wii U

While the “mature” Transformers do their damage with Fall of Cybertron on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this August, Wii U owners may be very well getting their own turn with Optimus Prime.

The official site for the Transformers Prime series, which has been released across Nintendo DS, 3Ds and the Wii, is listing a possible upcoming release for the Wii U, based on the popular animated series.  The game would put you in control of Prime, or several other Autobots, as you battle against the Decepticon scourge.

It could easily be a misprint, and Activision hasn’t commented on the release of the game yet, so it’s still a rumor at this point.  But still, why shouldn’t the Wii U get some Transformer love?  It could certainly use it.
