When Tokyo Jungle released for PlayStation Network a few months ago, it introduced a curious little scenario that allowed players to pit smaller beasts against lions and elephants in an effort to become king of the urban jungle. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out – or prefer a mobile version you can take with you – Sony’s giving you a second chance.
The company has confirmed that Tokyo Jungle will come to PlayStation Mobile next week for the introductory price of $2.99. That price will be for its first week only; after that, it’ll revert back to its original price of $5.99.
Tokyo Jungle works on the same basis as the PSN release, where you use animals to try and survive in a human-less world. However, it takes a different approach, using a top-down perspective and grid movements to get around and plan your attack on rival animals. There’s also no Story mode this time around, only Survival mode, where you can get right into the fighting action.
Look for the game to hit PlayStation Network on July 9. Don’t forget to check out the PSN version as well.
