Super Nintendo Games Are Coming to Nintendo Switch This Week

by Liana Ruppert

The Nintendo Switch is finally getting the Super Nintendo library we’ve all been wanting. A year has passed since the Big N unveiled their online service and for those that love the classics, that service just got a whole lot sweeter. Starting tomorrow, SNES games will be playable on the hybrid console.

Which SNES Games Will Be Playable On Nintendo Switch?

The list of SNES games will grow but starting out, here’s what Switch owners can expect:

  • Super Mario Kart
  • Kirby’s Dream Course
  • Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island
  • F-Zero
  • The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
  • Super Mario World
  • Star Fox
  • Stunt Race FX
  • Super Metroid
  • Kirby’s Dream Land 3
  • Pilotwings
  • Super Soccer
  • Super Tennis
  • Brawl Brothers
  • Demon’s Crest
  • Joe & Mac 2: Lost in the Tropics
  • Super E.D.F. Earth Defense Force
  • Super Puyo Puyo 2
  • Breath of Fire
  • Super Ghouls ’n Ghosts

Another cool feature that Nintendo confirmed is that all of the SNES games will include the rewind feature that was announced earlier this year.
