As has become the (new) tradition, EA SPORTS once again opened up the Madden NFL cover spot to fan voting. What began much like an actual NFL season where several contenders went toe to toe, only two were left until this morning. Carolina Panthers’ Cam Newton, an impressive new talent in the NFL, faced seasoned veteran and all-world wide reciever from the Detroit Lions, Calvin Johnson.

When all was said and done, and all votes were tallied, it was Calvin “Megatron” Johnson that stood last. Which is not susprising given his incredible 10,000 foot verticle.
