Originally announced on Xbox Wire, the upcoming Sea of Thieves console bundle will be released on March 20, the same day that Sea of Thieves launches for Xbox One and Windows 10. The bundle costs $299.99 and includes a number of valuable items for prospective pirates, including a full copy of Sea of Thieves.
The Xbox One S console also supports video streaming at 4K resolution and comes with a built-in 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player, High Dynamic Range, and premium Dolby Atmos spatial audio. Sea of Thieves has been making waves ever since the launch of their Closed Beta last month. Rare has since issued several more scale tests to iron out any kinks prior to the game’s official launch. There could be more scale tests on the way, so we’ll be sure to keep you informed of any updates.
Sea of Thieves will be a part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program, which means that players who own the digital copy of Sea of Thieves will be able to play the game on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. This is great news for players looking to pick up this new Xbox One S bundle, as it still gives players the option of enjoying their seafaring experience on PC.
If you’re one of the many prospective pirates looking to play Sea of Thieves on Windows 10, be sure to review the Sea of Thieves PC system requirements to make sure your rig is ready to set sail on March 20.
