Sea of Thieves PC System Requirements Revealed

by Larryn Bell

Today, Rare released a comprehensive chart detailing the recommended system requirements for Sea of Thieves on Windows 10. The Sea of Thieves PC specifications range from Ultra “Mythical” settings to minimum “Cursed” settings, supporting both high- and low-end Windows 10 PCs alike. We’ve included the infographic of the minimum and recommended Sea of Thieves PC system requirements below.

Rare has prided themselves on designing Sea of Thieves for a wide range of computers. Whether you’re running a 4K rig at 60FPS, or are getting by with something significantly less powerful, Sea of Thieves should still be satisfyingly playable either way.

“We want to deliver a great version of the game even for those with computers below our official minimum spec,” said Rare in an announcement today. “The game is perfectly playable at 540p, and one of the advantages of Xbox Play Anywhere is that if you own an Xbox One AND a low-spec laptop you can still take full advantage of it, and we absolutely encourage it!”

After the buzz surrounding the Sea of Thieves Closed Beta, fans have been eager to jump back in and set sail on the open seas once more. In collaboration with Microsoft, Sea of Thieves has been built from the ground up for Windows 10 and Xbox One, which reduces the odds of Sea of Thieves coming to PS4

Sea of Thieves will launch on March 20, 2018 for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.
