A returning franchise, along with a new one from Crytek, could be highlights for Microsoft's next-gen console.

Though no projects have been unveiled for Microsoft’s Xbox 720 console yet (the details are likely to come with the company’s official May 21st reveal), there have been a few rumblings in terms of what games we can expect for the system.

First off, there’s Bungie’s Destiny, a first-person action/adventure that was revealed earlier this year.

Then there’s Ryse, Crytek’s adventure game that looks to use the Kinect to execute a majority of actions.  The graphics are also said to be rather unreal, though we haven’t yet seen it in action.

One interesting nugget of news is the return of a popular Microsoft racing franchise, one we haven’t seen in a few years.  Word has it that Project Gotham Racing 5 is in the works, with various team members formerly with Bizarre Creations (the developer who handled the series through its inception) and Criterion Games (the makers of Need For Speed: Most Wanted) handling it.  There’s nothing official just yet, but we should know more next month.

We’d definitely like to see PGR come back, mainly because it’s been ages since we’ve earned any Kudos.  Be sure to check back for details soon…
