Microsoft is continuously loading up Xbox Live Marketplace with services that users will use when they’re not blasting away in a round of Halo 4 or Gears of War 3. Their latest addition, Rhapsody, has just made its debut on the service.
The Rhapsody app enables people to listen to subscription-based music via streaming, giving them access to thousands of albums, songs and playlists with the push of a few buttons. The entire Rhapsody playlist is available for access, and, what’s more, you can use the Kinect to activate it by using either voice prompts or motion controls. (Note: the service is for Xbox Live Gold subscribers only at this point in time.)
The app is free to download, but, again, you need to subscribe to the Rhapsody service in order to get the most out of it. Pop it in and see if you can find us some good 80’s tracks. Loverboy’s “Workin’ For the Weekend” is on there, right?
