April release given

Capcom have announced that they won’t be releasing their multiplayer add-on Versus for Resident Evil 5 at the previously promised date of 26th March; it will instead be out in April.

The company “deeply apologizes” for the delay, a statement to Kotaku says.

The game is apparently being pushed back due to a few polishing touches that need to be applied.

Versus comes with a couple of multiplayer modes: Survivor’s Rule, which pits players against each other, and Slayer’s Rule, in which you compete for points. It’ll be playable for up to four players, and will set you back 400 MSP or $5 on the PSN.
