RE5 includes Mercenaries mode

Capcom have announced through their US blog Capcom-Unity that Resident Evil 5 will include the ever-popular Mercenaries mode.

Mercenaries first reared it’s head in Resident Evil 5 as bonus for beating the main game. The mode consists of point-scoring by zombie-killing within a time limit, with constant waves of undead being continually unleashed upon the player; loads of fun.

It sounds like a pretty similar setup to last time, which was a very popular format. “You know the drill. You have to unlock it first, of course. Once you do, you jump in a never-ending swarm of baddies, and timed challenges test your true talent and skill in the game,” explained Capcom.
