Ever since it was reconfigured into a multi-platform release earlier this year, Rayman Legends has been building a great deal of attention. Today, we have a glimpse of a whole new level introduced for the first time today – the Ocean World.
Like the original Rayman Origins water stages this World lets you swim around underwater, avoiding dangers like fish and heat-detecting mines while maneuvering your way through hallways and picking up those precious Lums. The trailer emphasizes co-op teamwork, with three players swimming along at a time. There’s also above-the-water action, as the team has to contend with laser-shooting frogs.
You can watch the trailer here if you’re in the mood for a few good-hearted chuckles. The game itself isn’t too far off from release, as it’ll be hitting stores on August 29th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U. We can’t wait to go for a swim, even with laser-shooting frogs!
