Ratchet and Clank Return With Into the Nexus

The galactic heroes battle evil this winter on PlayStation 3.

The Ratchet and Clank series became even more popular on PlayStation 3, starting with Tools of Destruction and continuing with A Crack In Time, the multiplayer-oriented All 4 One and the strategic Full Frontal Assault. That said, Insomniac Games is ready to go back to basics.

Hot on the heels of yesterday’s teaser image story, Insomniac Games has announced Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus, an all-new adventure coming to PlayStation 3 later this year.

In the game, the duo – a brave Lombax and his robotic partner Clank – will face off against a new adversary, one that can do a whole lot of intergalactic harm.  That is, when he’s not listening to Wang Chung’s “Everybody Have Fun Tonight”.

Into the Nexus will introduce some new features, including free-gravity flight, that will allow you to move from one platform to another however you wish.

You can watch the debut trailer for Into the Nexus.  We’ll have a first look soon.
