It’s quite a conundrum trying to figure out what to do between a “fluffy world” and an “iron world”, isn’t it?  And we’re still trying to explain the fascination with all the drinking birds.

Regardless, Quantum Conundrum, the latest from Portal mastermind Kim Swift, is just starting its invasion on the gaming market.  Square Enix has announced that the game is now available on Steam, letting players on that service try it out first.  But don’t worry, console owners, you’ll get your chance as well, as the game is slated to arrive on July 10th on PlayStation Network, and a day later on Xbox Live Arcade.  Pricing is set to be around $14.99.

In the game, you play a young lad in search of his uncle, an inventor who’s managed to find a way to divide a world into dimensions.  You must find your way through his enormous mansion, splitting between dimensions to solve puzzles and find hidden goodies.  It sounds perplexing, but Quantum Conundrum is quite approachable, and, more importantly, fun.  Even with the drinking birds.

Look for the game now on Steam, and soon on other downloadable services!
