More information on that, and when the demo will be available on console, was also provided.

Playable Demo of Little Nightmares II Available Now

If you’re impatient for the release of Little Nightmares II, a downloadable demo was added to Steam and GOG, giving PC players the chance to preview the game. In the announcement, it was noted that the demo will also be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch “at a later date” though no specific date was provided.

If we had to guess, we’d imagine the demo will become available prior to the official release of Little Nightmares II on February 11, 2021. On that date, the game will release on current gen consoles (PS4, Xbox One), and PC via Steam. Later on, a free update for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will be provided for people who bought the game.

Or, if you’ve yet to purchase the game, you’ll be able to access the next-gen version at that time. If you’re curious about what’s included in the demo and want to get a better idea as to what you can expect from the game, here’s how the demo is described:

“The Little Nightmares II Wilderness demo sets the stage for the adventures and horrors to come for Mono, the young protagonist of the story. Players will dive headfirst into the first moments of the game, solving the first set of deadly puzzles and meeting companion character Six, the heroine from the first installment of the Little Nightmares series. Together, Mono and Six will work together to discover the dark secrets within the Hunter’s cabin, and elude fearsome and grotesque enemies as they head towards the Pale City.”

Adding to this, you can pre-order Little Nightmares II right now with digital pre-orders available on Xbox One for the Standard Version, and digital pre-orders for the Standard and Deluxe versions on PlayStation, Steam, and GOG. Nintendo Switch pre-orders will be available in the near future.

Anyone who pre-orders will receive the Mokujin Hat for Mono. Meanwhile, if you splurge for The Deluxe Edition, you’ll get access to the Nomes’ Attic DLC for Little Nightmares II, the game’s digital soundtrack composed by Tobias Lilja, a digital artbook, Mono and Six avatars, along with a Wallpaper for PC or a Dynamic Theme for PS4.

Again, you can download a free demo for Little Nightmares II right now on PC via Steam and GOG. Little Nightmares II will be available on February 11, 2021 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
