Trophies, achievements ... it's a game within a game. Play the titles you love and show off that dedication by earning milestones on your favorite platform. It's fun, it's motivation, but one player took the thrill of the hunt to a whole new level when they set a new world record by earning 50 Platinum trophies on PlayStation in just 20 hours. 

The PlayStation account 'PS4Trophies' held a livestream on December 15 to document their quest for world domination. The only downside is while the event was live, the footage "might be lost," so we don't actually have real-time proof of the big feat. That being said, the comments to the announcement was filled with commenters that watched the event and it sounds like it was an exciting time. 

Brian's accomplishment definitely encouraged his community to send over their well-wishes and honestly? 50 Plats is beyond impressive in any situation, much less when looking at that accomplishment within a 20-hour timeframe:
