One PlayStation Player Earns 50 Platinum Trophies In 20 Hours, Breaks World Record

Trophies, achievements … it’s a game within a game. Play the titles you love and show off that dedication by earning milestones on your favorite platform. It’s fun, it’s motivation, but one player took the thrill of the hunt to a whole new level when they set a new world record by earning 50 Platinum trophies on PlayStation in just 20 hours. 

The PlayStation account ‘PS4Trophies’ held a livestream on December 15 to document their quest for world domination. The only downside is while the event was live, the footage “might be lost,” so we don’t actually have real-time proof of the big feat. That being said, the comments to the announcement was filled with commenters that watched the event and it sounds like it was an exciting time. 

So I did a thing over the past 20 hours, where I played to full completion, 50 games and earned 50 Platinums. Thought it’d be much easier than it was but with the community really pulled me through and this is dedicated to them. Check out the profile, https://t.co/GgoCu8LBzc

I was confused why he didn’t use some of the cross buy Vita plats for his 50. Some of those are crazy easy and would have helped him save some time.
