Though it’s not quite overloaded with original fare, this week’s Nintendo eShop update for the Wii U and 3DS still has plenty to offer whether you’re into classic games or seeking out something new.

Let’s start with the Wii U.  Two new Virtual Console games join the line-up this week for $4.99 each – Tecmo’s classic platforming NES game Solomon’s Key and Namco’s Xevious also in NES form.  If you prefer something a little newer, you can download a demo for Capcom’s Resident Evil Revelations starting May 14th.

On the 3DS front, Nintendo’s latest Mario and Donkey Kong game, Minis On the Move, can be yours for $9.99.  If you prefer something a little speedier, you can go racing with SpeedX 3D Hyper Edition for the bargain price of $2.99.

Finally, 3DS and DS owners alike can try out Publisher Dream from Circle Entertainment for $1.99.  It looks like a fairly fun sim, and for such a cheap price it’s well worth checking out.

The update is live now for both systems.
