Nintendo Announces E3 2021 Direct Set For June 15

This is part of E3 2021 which kicks off just days prior. Nintendo, in a tweet, posted the following.

“Tune in for a #NintendoDirect with roughly 40 minutes of info focused exclusively on #NintendoSwitch software, mostly releasing in 2021, followed by around 3 hours of gameplay in #NintendoTreehouseLive | E3 2021.”

You can check out the official tweet below.

Fans have been speculating about what Nintendo could possibly have to show since its current fall lineup is quite slim. Of course, with the 35th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda franchise this year, we hope to get more information about Breath of the Wild 2, but who knows.

The last Nintendo Direct focused primarily on games like Mario Golf: Super Rush, Splatoon 3, and Skyward Sword HD, all of which are still not out, so we may see a little from these titles as well.

Nintendo will also feature 3 hours of gameplay during its Treehouse Live segment, so here’s to hoping some new games we don’t know about yet get spotlighted.

Only a couple more weeks before we know for certain, so be sure to tune in on June 15, at 9 am PT.
