Ninja Leaves Twitch For Mixer Exclusively

The high-profile streamer will now be exclusively streaming on Mixer for the foreseeable future.

Tyler “Ninja” Belvins is arguably the most popular video game content creator in the world, as the former professional Halo player turned Fortnite Battle Royale star has seen a great deal of success on the platforms of Twitch and YouTube. This success has led to Ninja making millions of dollars and being at the forefront of merging the video game world with mainstream culture. However, the high-profile streamer announced on Thursday, August 1st he would be switching his streaming platform of choice from Twitch to the Microsoft owned platform of Mixer in a move that has shaken up the streaming industry.

Ninja to Mixer

Ninja’s move from Twitch to Mixer was revealed in an announcement video the popular streaming personality posted to his Twitter account. The move certainly surprised plenty, as not many were expecting to see Twitch’s most successful content creator move to a new home in Mixer which has not seen the same level of success Twitch has when it comes to streaming. However, Mixer is ready to challenge Twitch with their partnership with Ninja being the first significant move for the platform.

“I feel like this is a really good chance for me to get back in touch with my roots and remember why I fell in love with streaming in the first place,” said Ninja in the announcement video for his official move from twitch to Mixer.

To celebrate Ninja coming over to the platform for his streaming, Mixer is currently giving away free subscriptions to Ninja’s Mixer channel for a limited time.

While Ninja will be leaving behind a massive Twitch audience, it does not look like he will suffer too much when it comes to building a following on Mixer. At the time of this writing, Ninja currently has 61,457 followers on the Microsoft streaming platform and 120,000 views since his official move earlier today.
