Today on the PlayStation Blog we got a glimpse of three upcoming vinyl releases from PlayStation Studios’ games. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Ghost of Tsushima, and Returnal. All of the details about each pressing can be found below.
New PlayStation Vinyl Features Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Returnal, & More
The Ratchet & Clank set is a 2-disc LP with artwork from Shan Jian and features a rotatable panoramic cover. The vinyl themselves are an orange splatter and purple splatter set. You can pre-order it now through Milan records or other participating retailers.
The Ghost of Tsushima: Music from Iki Island & Legends vinyl pressed in black and red. It features new compositions from Chad Cannon and Bill Hemstapat.
The cover art is directly from the Director’s Cut expansion and multiplayer DLC. You can obtain different color variations through the different retailers taking pre-orders now.
The Returnal vinyl is pressed on a bright yellow that matches the cover’s use of the color. The BAFTA-winning score by Bobby Krilic is alongside custom artwork from artist David Mack.

Ultimately, as a vinyl collector, it’s nice to see some prestige put behind the offerings here. Not only are these soundtracks getting a high-quality pressing, but all with custom artwork and packaging. No information on if these pressings are on 180-gram vinyl or not and the retailers do not currently state one way or the other.
