A new PlayStation Play has been announced for next week ahead of the holiday rush as September inches closer and closer to its end, and many are already speculating what sort of reveals the team over at Sony has in store. Could we finally be getting a Last of Us Part II release date reveal? Something even more exciting? We’ll have to wait and find out, because the latest State of Play is going live next Tuesday!

“We’re preparing a pretty hefty show, weighing in at around 20 minutes and sporting a fresh new look,” reads the official PlayStation blog about the upcoming showcase. “And we’ll have some great news to share with you, including new game reveals, new content from PlayStation’s Worldwide Studios, and a host of other updates. Should be fun!”

One thing we do know not to expect is anything about next-gen plans, the team literally added an additional note saying no next-gen plans are in store for the upcoming reveal. But hey, that still leaves The Last of Us Part II open for grabs!

The latest PlayStation State of Play will be going live at 1 PM PT on Tuesday, September 24th. Fans can watch what Sony has up their sleeve over on Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter – as usual – live when the show kicks off.

What do you hope to see from the latest PlayStation State of Play? More zombie goodness or a brand new reveal all together? Since Sony skipped out on E3 this year, a lot of PlayStation fans are itching to know what’s up. Since we’ve just gotten a huge Death Stranding reveal during Toyko Game Show, it will be interesting to see what the PlayStation camp has to offer before the holiday season officially kicks into full gear in October and November.
