New Overwatch Zenyatta Skin Is a Tentacled Mashup That Just Works

Overwatch's Best Boi Zenyatta is getting a new octopus skin as a tribute to a 2018 pro player.

Zenyatta is one of the most underrated healers in Blizzard’s Overwatch, in my opinion, and the Omnic definitely has a very unique to him when it comes to the battlefield. His calming presence and unique movement style make him a very interesting heroic pick and the latest skin for the healer makes his unique look and makes it … tentacled?

The new skin, seen in the video above, was crafted to pay tribute to 2018’s Overwatch League MVP Bang “Jjonak” Sunghyeon. Tentacles aside, the new skin also has a heavy focus on his favorite color, pink, in addition to Octopi, which is his favorite animal. Since his pro name is a shortened version of “jjomullak nakji,” which translates to “rumbling octopus,” the latest creative collaboration just works and makes for a really cool skin to add to any Zenyatta main’s collection.

The latest skin will be available from June 27 until July 14 for 200 tokens. You can learn more about the latest skin right here over on the official Overwatch League blog, including what went into the design and how other pro players feel about the unique look for the zen’d out healer.

Overwatch is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The new Overwatch Zenyatta skin drops later this week!
