343 Industries made Halo fans weep for joy when they revealed that the Halo Master Chief Collection – including Halo Reach – would be coming to PC. While we don’t have a release date at this time, knowing that it’s on the way is phenomenal news. In a new developer update, the Halo: Reach team is talking about some of the developmental milestones as well as crossplay and system requirements.
The game is going through another round of flighting – testing – and to celebrate the progress being made, they talked about crossplay and cross-platform progression. As for crossplay, the Steam and Windows 10 version will work together, though Xbox and PC won’t.
The studio also provided a chart, seen below, regarding the three different versions of Halo: Reach.
As for PC specs, for those like me that can’t wait to play this on this platform of choice, the team also added another chart showing of the minimum spec requirements for AMD and NVIDIA. They also mentioned that a more thorough breakdown will be released in the coming months:
