Mortal Kombat 11 – Geras

The official Geras reveal trailer describes the sand-bending character as “a powerful and loyal servant of Kronika,” who wields the power to manipulate time. The trailer showcases Geras’s various fighting techniques, many of which involve the use of sand.

Geras is capable of creating a sand clone of himself as an obstruction, while also morphing sand into various weapons that can be summoned during combat. Alongside his powerful punches, Geras also utilizes several teleportation maneuvers, granting him added mobility. For his finisher, Geras delivers a skull-crushing smack to the back of his opponents head, sending their face and brain flying.

Mortal Kombat 11 – Kronika

Kronika, who also was revealed during NetherRealm’s Mortal Kombat 11 livestream, is known as The Keeper of Time and “will bring order to the universe through any means necessary,” according to the description on the official story prologue trailer.

The trailer doesn’t reveal Kronika’s face. Her body is turned away from the camera as she walks toward a freshly beheaded Shinnok (who may or may not be playable). We also hear a few lines from Kronika as she speaks to Shinnok’s severed head, demonstrating a bit of time-manipulation in the process. You can watch the full cutscene in the video below.
