A new Bugsnax video shows off actual gameplay beyond the catchy song and yup, we were right – it’s a horror game. Know how we know that? Because you have to play a journalist. As a journalist, our lives suck, so have fun with that one and enjoy.

The latest look at the adorably creepy Bugsnax shows off what players will actually be doing in this world “find my favorite bug snacks, and feed them to me.” We also have our first look at more of the beautiful world within this game alongside a few dangers that will be a challenge as well. 

Players will take on the role of a journalist as they uncover all of the secrets regarding bugs and … snacks. The “nobody hates you yet” line cut real deep, let me tell you, so while I cry into my unwashed hoodie, you can check out the latest gameplay trailer:
