New Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Spells Out Tragedy for Eivor

It looks like our Viking is going to go through Hell and back in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

Assassin’s Creed Vahalla is on the way and players can’t wait to try their hand at Viking life with Eivor. Our recent hands-on time with the game aside, Ubisoft has revealed a brand-new trailer that seems to spell out tragedy for our protagonist. From scouring for resources to internal conflict, the journey ahead is rife with pain and tribulations.

“Driven from Norway by wars and dwindling resources, Eivor is a Norse Viking raider who gathers their clan to sail to England in search of a new home,” Ubisoft tells Prima Games about the latest inside look at Valhalla. “Facing strong resistance in England, Eivor is forced to confront not only enemies in battle, but also internal conflicts. in the fight to save their clan and attain glory, Eivor may stand to lose everything.”

Fates are intertwined and there is a dark road ahead for our protagonist as the latest trailer takes us into various locations to explore in-game. From land to sea, no place is off-limits and nowhere is safe from betrayal and danger. “What is it you seek,” asks the ominous voice narrating the latest trailer for the newest adventure into the Brotherhood.

We recently were given an opportunity to play a few hours of the new Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and while we wish we could have experienced more of the story, it seems like a phenomenal blend of the new mechanics seen in Odyssey and what so many loved of Assassin’s Creed 2.
