Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate provided plenty of thrills with its release on the Wii U and 3DS last year, and now Capcom’s ready to bring that joyous feeling of taking down large behemoths back next year.
The company has officially announced that Monster Hunter 4G, the long-awaited follow-up in the series, will make its way to the Nintendo 3DS in early 2015. Although that’s a ways off, the game will certainly be worth the wait, with various new monsters and weapon/armor additions to take advantage of.
Said Monster Hunter producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, “You can expect the biggest leap forward ever for the series.” Full details are in the announcement trailer below.
As always, we’ll bring you more details in an upcoming first look, and break down strategies closer to the game’s release.
