Fable 4 news has been non-existent but that hasn’t stopped the new Fable leaks from running rampant and getting us all excited. It looks like a Fable revival may be confirmed here soon, at least if Microsoft is hinting at what we think they are hinting at.
When the studio behind the glorious Fable franchise shut down years ago, fans of the iconic RPG series were crushed and disheartened. Then, there was a glimmer of hope! Numerous reports, leaks, and insiders stated that Fable 4 is currently in development with the help of PlayGround Studios, though no one has been able to get 100% confirmation on that. That being said, it looks like Microsoft may be gearing up to confirm a Fable revival because they are harnessing their inner Chicken Chaser in the best way possible.

The Microsoft social media team lit Twitter on fire when they made the above post. Most notably is the chicken head atop one of the stick figure characters, which many immediately attributed to the famous Chicken Chaser title players could earn throughout the entire Fable franchise. Why be a normal adventurer when you could chase chickens instead? Duh.
Even more speculation about a Fable 4 reveal coming soon was that in Fable Lost Chapters and in the Anniversary edition, there was a Chicken Hat item that could be unlocked for those dedicated to Oakvale’s Chicken Kicking soiree. It’s silly, it’s goofy, and it’s so totally Fable.
Microsoft further stoked those fires by answering a simple question. When all eyes are on a post, every letter gets dissected, and they know that:
If you weren’t wearing the Chicken Hat, were you ever really a hero?
