The hype for new consoles is finally starting to ramp up. With the price and release date for both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series family of consoles announced, it’s time to figure out which one you’re going to pre-order.
Despite having a strong PlayStation 5 showcase yesterday, Sony certainly was not clear on when or where we would be able to preorder this box. Many retailers put up preorder pages throughout the night, making it almost impossible to get one.

Luckily, Microsoft has made sure that everyone who plans on ordering an Xbox Series X or S will have ample time to know when and where.

You will be able to pre-order the Xbox Series X, and S on September 22 at 8 AM PT/11 AM ET.
It also lists the retailers participating, such as Amazon, Best Buy, Target, Wal-Mart, and a few others. If you’re looking to grab an Xbox Series X or S, you’ll want to set the alarm to make sure you’re ready. West Coast folks get ready to get up a little early, and East Coast maybe take your lunch break a little earlier.
The anticipation for the next generation of consoles is growing more and more each day, so it’s no surprise that people are hungry to try and get their hands on them. Xbox has done it’s best to give everyone all the information they need to get one of these.

Of course, this doesn’t guarantee that sites won’t go down or have issues similar to what we saw with PlayStation 5 last night. Hopefully, everything will go smoothly, and everyone who wants one of these shiny new boxes will be able to put them in their homes this holiday season.
The Xbox Series X and S launch on November 10, 2020. With an Xbox and Game Pass, you’ll have plenty of new and exciting games to try out. Xbox also recently announced a partnership with EA to add a massive benefit for Xbox Game Pass users.
Get ready, because the next generation of gaming is on the horizon, only a few more months before games get a whole lot better.
