May Day, Museum Day, Wedding Season Return in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

After downloading a free update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons on April 28, players will be able to enjoy three seasonal events happening in April, May, and June. The first of these events is May Day which will run from April 29 to May 7.

If you missed May Day last year, you’ll get a May Day Ticket that you can use to fly to an island with a fun maze puzzle for you to solve. Meanwhile, International Museum Day returns from May 18 through May 31.

During this event, you’ll head to your island’s museum and take part in a fun Stamp Rally by viewing exhibits and collecting stamps as you go along.

Finally, wedding season makes its romantic return from June 1 through June 30. Of the three seasonal events, this one is definitely the biggest with the opportunity to earn dozens of adorable wedding-themed items.

Wedding season will be a little different from last year as Reese and Cyrus already got married, so think of this year as a sort of anniversary for them.

Congrats to the happy couple on their one-year anniversary! And finally, Nintendo reminds players to check their Nook Shopping for new seasonal items on offer in May and June including ones for Mother’s Day and Cheese Rolling.

Below, we’ve included descriptions for each of the three upcoming events in Animal Crossing: New Horizons with text courtesy of Nintendo

May Day (April 29 – May 7): Use your May Day Ticket and tour a rather interesting island between April 29 – May 7. These tickets are single-use, so plan your trip accordingly. Have a good flight!

International Museum Day (May 18 – May 31): To celebrate International Museum Day, players can take part in a Stamp Rally between May 18-31. After talking to Blathers and receiving a special stamp car, players can enjoy viewing fish, insects, fossils, and art while collecting stamps at the various museum exhibits.

Wedding Season (June 1 – June 30): Since Reese and Cyrus got married in the month of June, it’s now their tradition to take weddings photos on Harvey’s Island every June. Meet up with them on the island and help take adorable photos. A few decorations go a long way!

Also, wedding season-themed furniture and fashion items will be available in Nook Shopping and Able Sisters during the entire month. Check them out before they rotate out.”
