A couple weeks into the NFL, and already there have been plenty of stat enhancements in Madden NFL 24. The most noticeable has to be Miami Doplins’ Tyreek Hill. The Wide Receiver, with his commanding general, Tua Tagovailoa, has led the Dolphins to back-to-back victories in the opening weeks. And because of his superiority while running down the line, Tyreek Hill will be awarded an OVR rating increase and now joins the 99 club in Madden NFL 24.
It’s been nothing short of amazing to see Tyreek Hill in action. After the opening week of NFL madness, Hill led the entire league in receiving yards and receptions. Following the second week of NFL action, the WR has only fallen behind Justin Jefferson and Puka Nacua in receiving yards and receptions but still runs the show with three touchdowns, the most by a WR in the league.
With his excellent displays on the field, EA has now boosted his Madden NFL 24 OVR from 98 to 99, not only making him one of the 99 elites but also the first Dolphin in the history of the franchise to receive the 99 OVR rating. He joins the five players who started Madden 24 with a 99 OVR. It’s always great to witness history in the making.
The Dolphins have put to bed any notion that they are here as an upset team and look like one of the firm favorites to take the AFC East division title away from the dominant Buffalo Bills, who have won the conference for the past three years, since 2020. The Miami Dolphins now lead the pack in the AFC East division, going into week 3 as the only team not to drop points in the division and win both games.
The only thing left for all of us Madden players is to add Tyreek Hill to our respective lineups if he hasn’t been added to the team sheet already. Hopefully, the 99 OVR squad will continue to grow in the early stages of the season. For more on Madden NFL 24, you can read: Every 99 Overall Player in Madden NFL 24
