When Ninja Gaiden 3 came out earlier this year for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, many were disappointed by the game’s lack of flying limbs and unlockable weapons (at first), as well as the somewhat lackluster story. Tecmo Koei recently tried to alleviate the matter with a more definitive version of the game for Wii U, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge, which has fixed some of those mistakes. But is that system the only one getting the improved features? That may not be the case.
According to retail listings over at Amazon France, a new game titled Ninja Gaiden Sigma 3 has appeared for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with a listed release date of March 5, 2013 – almost one year from the original game’s release.
This is nothing new for Tecmo Koei, as they’ve released Sigma improvements in the past for PlayStation 3. If Sigma 3 does exist, you can expect it to include the level of carnage found in Razor’s Edge, along with other possible bonus features.
Tecmo Koei hasn’t stated anything yet, so it’s unofficial at the moment. We’ll let you know once it’s confirmed!
