Link Returns To Wii U With Hyrule Warriors In 2014

It's a new twist on the Legend of Zelda franchise.

Today, Nintendo showcased its most recent announcements with an online Direct special, and among the projects revealed was a new Legend of Zelda game that strays from the game’s usual adventure tone and, instead, just lets you kick butt with Link.

Hyrule Warriors is a collaboration between Nintendo and Tecmo Koei’s Dynasty Warriors team. Yep, you face off against hundreds of enemies using Hyrule’s hero, utilizing his numerous attack capabilities to take down enemies while occasionally facing stronger foes.

The name isn’t final just yet, but Hyrule Warriors does have a nice ring to it.

Look for Link’s latest adventure on the Wii U sometime in 2014.
