It’s easy to get excited about the upcoming RTX 3000 series with the 3070 scaling up to 3080. With 8K technology at 60fps, the next technological leap is going to be a massive one, which means our games aren’t only going to look better, they are going to perform with less limitations than ever before. We got a glimpse of this with the most recent RTX showcase with Cyberpunk 2077 with the exciting trailer below:

A solid example of the devil being in the details is the above freeze frame for the video itself where the neon lighting can clearly be seen reflected in the puddle’s surface. That may sound small, but those little details add to the entire immersive experience, especially for those craving a deep-dive into realism like never before.

The above footage was captured at max settings with the RTX 3080, the mid-tier card, with ray tracing and DLSS in 4K. This is obviously footage meant for PC players, so for those interested, check out our previous coverage below to learn more about the new 3000 series:

Ray tracing is a big buzz word right now in gaming, and for good reason. This technology doesn’t just pair with good looks, it allows developers a freedom never-before-seen in development to create interchangeable worlds at a drop of a hat. It’s going to be an exciting generation ahead, despite not technically even knowing when it will begin.

For now, the new release date for Cyberpunk 2077 is November 19th. You can learn more about the journey thus far with our game hub here, as well as on Twitter @PrimaGames for more Cyberpunk 2077 goodness and gaming news.
