Although the wait for the next Super Smash Bros. game continues to be a rather lengthy one – we still don’t have a release date – it’s nice to see Nintendo provide updates to the roster, as the company added another face that you’ll be able to smack fools around with.

King Dedede, the hammer-carrying nemesis of the pink puffball Kirby, will be joining the fight on both the 3DS and Wii U versions. He’s appeared in Super Smash Bros. games before, but his quick movement and brutal strength make him an ideal fighter to knock opponents into Dreamland and beyond.
Super Smash Bros. is slated for release sometime this year, but a date hasn’t been provided yet. We should know more very soon.
